Don’t waste time to stop and think about how tired you are, or how much you don’t WANT to…
Just grab your running shoes and throw on some workout clothes.
You have a few options, go for a 20-30 minute jog outside, throw on an exercise video, run on your home treadmill or elliptical.
But you say, “JENNIFER, too bad I don’t have workout equipment at my house, any workout videos or a place nearby to run outside…!! :(..”
That’s okay! Here’s what you’re going to do: GRAB A WATCH and a bottle of water! Let’s go! (I’m throwing on “Good Vibrations” – one of my favourite songs to workout too! 😉
Drill Sergeant No-Excuses Workout: (25-30 minutes!)
Walk on the spot for 2 minutes (Like you mean it, arms swinging!)
Jog on the spot for 3 minutes
3 minutes of low-intensity jumping jacks
1 minute jog on the spot
1 minute alternating lunges
3 minutes running on the spot (high knees)
1 minute walking/jogging on the spot (depending on how tired you are – but push yourself!)
1 minute squats (remember to have good form – your knees should NOT go past your toes)
3 minutes jump rope (if you don’t have a jump rope, just swing your arms as if you did have one!)
1 minute walking/jogging on the spot
1 minute push-ups (on your knees or toes, depending on your strength level)
5 minutes ab crunches
1 minute walking on the spot – until your pulse slows down
DONE! That’s it! How do you feel?
